Description: This is a closed opt-out technical operators list for eduroam South Africa. It is intended for IT or network operations staff at institutions that provide eduroam services.

Institutional contacts added in the eduroam management portal (including initial contacts) will be automatically subscribed, and may be automatically unsubscribed when those contacts change. They may elect to unsubscribe manually, although institutions should ensure they always have at least one operational staff member subscribed or they miss important operational information.

Subscribers of the eduroam-admins mailing list are expected to be able to accurately represent the views of their organisation. Where multiple subscribers exist from the same organisation, in general they should discuss issues internally and put forward a consolidated view. This is particularly important when the list is asked to review policy or other documentation.
